Anuncio de la tercera ponencia invitada en el XLI Congreso de la Sociedad Española de Farmacología
La tercera ponencia invitada en el XLI Congreso de la Sociedad Española de Farmacología será “Tratamiento farmacológico de la obesidad: El amanecer tras la larga noche.” y la impartirá Javier Salvador Rodríguez el 5 de octubre a las 11:30 en la sala Lluis Dòmenec i Muntaner del CaixaForum.
A continuación incluimos una breve información sobre el ponente:
Javier Salvador Rodríguez is Emeritus Professor at the Universidad de Navarra after having been a professor in the area of endocrinology since 1993.
He was the Head of the Endocrinology Department at the Clínica Universitaria de Navarra (CUN) for over 18 years (2000-2018). Prof. Salvador Rodríguez has published more than 300 peer-reviewed articles and has supervised over 14 doctoral theses. Prof. Salvador Rodríguez was the President of the Spanish Society of Endocrinology and Nutrition (SEEN) between 2011-2014, President of the Foundation of the Spanish Society of Endocrinology and Nutrition (SEEN) between 2014-2017, and President of the National Commission of the Specialty of Endocrinology and Nutrition between 2014-2019.
He has received numerous awards including the medal of the Spanish Society of Endocrinology and Nutrition (SEEN) for his professional career in 2018, and the Basilio Moreno Award of the Spanish Society for the Study of Obesity (SEEDO) for his professional career in 2023.
